A Bylaws Template is provided to assistance districts in drafting and adopting bylaws that are tailored to their specific district.  Please note that this document is a template and is not intended to be adopted in it current form without some modification.  Among other things, the district name and appropriate dates will need to be modified, and statutory references will need to be tailored to your specific district.  Special (independent) districts and special service districts will need to modify the wording and statutory references for their specific districts.
